- 01 Subcritical water extract (SWE) and hot water extract demonstrated significant tyrosinase inhibitory activity, with IC50 values as low as 11.81 ± 0.52 μg/mL for SWE. A key polyphenol, 6′-O-caffeoylarbutin, showed stronger melanin inhibition (IC20 of 63.89 µM) than arbutin in a zebrafish model, effective at 60 µM (lowest non-toxic level).
