Science

Serica Powder delivers a comprehensive action by leveraging its amino acid composition, which closely mimics the molecular structure of collagen. This enables it to promote the skin's natural collagen production, fostering cellular renewal and leading to enhanced elasticity, reduced wrinkle depth, and firmer skin. Furthermore, it forms a lightweight protective film on the skin's surface, effectively preventing moisture loss, providing lubrication, and reinforcing the skin's natural barrier against external aggressors. Its amino acids also possess moisture-holding capabilities, while the powder itself efficiently absorbs excess sebum without occluding pores, thereby minimizing pore visibility and imparting a mattified finish. Serica Powder also demonstrates antioxidant properties and can soothe dermal irritation.

Stability

Serica Powder maintains optimal function and stability within a pH range of 4.0 to 7.0; degradation may occur outside this window. For optimal incorporation, it is recommended to add Serica Powder at a rate of 2-5% by weight during the cool-down phase of heated formulations (below 110°C). In cold process formulations, it should be integrated directly into the water phase. It demonstrates good compatibility with a wide array of cosmetic bases, color additives, essential oils, and fragrance oils.
