RHEUM RHABARBARUM EXTRACT operates as a robust antioxidant, actively defending the skin against free radical damage and mitigating the visible signs of aging. Its anti-inflammatory efficacy stems from inhibiting COX-2 enzyme activity and reducing the synthesis of prostaglandin E2, alongside suppressing pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-2 and TNF-α.
