Mechanism of Action
This ingredient actively promotes skin regeneration by stimulating the migration and proliferation of human epidermal keratinocytes (HaCats) and enhancing the phosphorylation of serine/threonine-specific protein kinase and extracellular signal-regulated kinase1/2. It induces the synthesis of Type I and IV collagen in HaCats, supporting skin structure. Furthermore, Pueraria Thunbergiana Flower Oil exhibits anti-melanogenesis activity by downregulating microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF) through Akt/GSK-3β activation, which decreases the transcription of tyrosinase and tyrosinase-related protein 1. It also inhibits α-glucosidase, interrupting tyrosinase maturation. Isoflavone compounds present contribute to its notable antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
