Mechanism of Action
This potent peptide, also known as Matrixyl Synthe'6, functions by signaling skin cells to stimulate the production of six essential components of the extracellular matrix (ECM) and dermal-epidermal junction, including Collagen I, III, IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid, and laminin 5. It also promotes aquaporin synthesis for enhanced hydration and strengthens the skin's lipid barrier, collectively leading to increased collagen production, plumped fine lines, and improved overall skin repair.
