HUMAN MONONUCLEAR CELL CONDITIONED MEDIA EXTRACT.

Valuable / SKIN CONDITIONING

Human Mononuclear Cell Conditioned Media Extract is a sophisticated cocktail of growth factors, cytokines, and exosomes derived from stem cells. This innovative ingredient acts as an intercellular messenger, promoting skin regeneration, reducing inflammation, and strengthening the skin barrier for a revitalized and healthier complexion.

Science

This extract operates as a potent 'Growth Factor Cocktail,' delivering a spectrum of bioactive components like HGF, EGF, KGF, VEGF, bFGF, PDGF, and GDF-11, alongside cytokines and exosomes. These elements stimulate cellular communication, fostering the growth, proliferation, and differentiation of skin cells. It actively encourages fibroblast activity, boosting the production of essential extracellular matrix (ECM) components and collagen to support tissue remodeling and accelerate wound healing. Furthermore, it exerts significant anti-inflammatory actions by suppressing key inflammatory cytokines and chemokines (TARC, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-4, IL-13), while simultaneously fortifying the skin's natural barrier. Its comprehensive action extends to mitigating oxidative stress, preventing premature cell death, and promoting overall skin rejuvenation, leading to improvements in skin texture and the reduction of visible wrinkles.

Key findings

  1. 01 At concentrations of 50% and 100% (in vitro), it inhibited type 2 cytokine and chemokine levels (TARC, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-4, IL-13) in human keratinocytes, demonstrating anti-inflammatory effects without cytotoxicity.
  2. 02 Topical application over 4 weeks to patients with mild Atopic Dermatitis lesions improved skin barrier function by increasing Corneometer levels and decreasing Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL).
  3. 03 At 250 µg/ml (in vitro), it enhanced proliferation and maintained morphology of human dermal fibroblasts, even under inflammatory conditions. It suppressed pro-inflammatory factors (MMP3, COX2) and boosted regenerative factors (FGF2, PDGFA) in fibroblasts and keratinocytes.
  4. 04 A 600 µg dose reduced inflammatory reactions, specifically redness and thickness, in a mouse model of skin inflammation.
  5. 05 In human clinical tests, a 5% concentration significantly increased skin moisture, decreased TEWL, and showed improvements in skin whitening and wrinkle appearance. The efficacy was further enhanced when delivered via polymersomes.

Stability

The active components, primarily proteins and signaling molecules, are water-soluble. Maintaining a physiological pH range of 7.2 to 7.4 is critical for preserving their biological activity and stability. Delivery systems such as polymersomes have been shown to significantly enhance its effectiveness and percutaneous absorption into the skin.
