It actively stimulates lipolysis, facilitating the breakdown of existing fat cells, while simultaneously inhibiting adipocyte differentiation to prevent the formation of new fat cells. Uniquely, glaucine encourages existing fat cells to dedifferentiate into stem-like cells and then re-evolve into collagen-producing fibroblasts, thereby enhancing connective tissue firmness and replacing fatty areas with firmer tissue. Furthermore, it boosts circulation to mitigate water retention, supports collagen production for improved skin elasticity, and exerts anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting PDE4 and acting as a calcium channel blocker.
