The dimethiconol component forms a light, breathable, and non-greasy film over the skin, acting as a superior conditioning agent that efficiently locks in moisture, refines skin texture, and facilitates smooth product application. Simultaneously, the beeswax component creates a semi-occlusive barrier on the skin's surface, significantly minimizing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and acting as a humectant to retain hydration. Beeswax further functions as an emollient, imparting softness and soothing effects. Upon contact with physiological skin temperature, it partially melts, interacting with the epidermal lipid mantle, specifically ceramides and free fatty acids within the stratum corneum, to actively restore and strengthen the compromised lipid barrier. The natural presence of flavonoids and phenolic compounds within beeswax also contributes anti-inflammatory properties, supporting overall skin health and resilience.
