The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has highlighted several serious concerns, labeling it as environmentally persistent and not anaerobically degradable. Furthermore, based on EU GHS Hazard Labeling Codes and California Proposition 65, there are indications of suspected damage to fertility, clear evidence of endocrine disruption in animal studies, and suspicion of causing genetic defects or cancer.
