Mechanism of Action
Contains bioactive briarane diterpenoids (excavatoids and briarenols) that suppress inflammatory signaling by inhibiting inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression. Additionally blocks superoxide anion generation and neutrophil elastase release, preventing enzymatic breakdown of collagen and elastin while reducing skin reactivity and redness.

Key findings
- 01 In vitro studies at 10 µM concentration reduced inflammatory markers iNOS and COX-2 to 35.37% and 54.61% respectively, with elastase inhibition IC50 of 4.65 µM
- 02 60-day clinical trials using Laboral XB2® formulation achieved German Dermatest® 5-star certification for soothing and repairing sensitive and atopic-prone skin
