Mechanism of Action
Polycaprolactone functions as a bio-stimulator, initiating a sustained collagen production process within the skin. When applied, PCL microspheres or particles prompt a localized tissue repair response, leading to the formation of granulation tissue and the subsequent deposition of both collagen type-III and, crucially, long-term collagen type-I. This material also exerts mechanical tension on fibroblasts, encouraging them to synthesize new collagen and elastin, thereby improving skin structure and resilience.
